Stone Griffon Vineyard is the result of the passion and vision of winemaker and vineyard manager Terry McIntyre. The vineyard was planted in 2006, and more vines were added in successive years. Our estate-grown wines are Tempranillo, Riesling, and several clones of Pinot Noir.

Stone Griffon Vineyard opened its tasting room on Carlton’s Main Street in February 2015. They are a small, family-owned, and operated winery, producing approximately 1800 cases of wine during the 2016 harvest, with 12 different vintages and varietals produced.

Being a smaller facility, our goal is to provide a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in which everyone feels comfortable asking those “dumb” questions about wine and winemaking. Really, there are no dumb questions for someone who wants to know more about wine and wishes to enhance their wine tasting experience.
