About CBA
The Carlton Business Association (CBA) is a strong and local network with businesses and citizens linked through a monthly newsletter, active website and quarterly membership meetings.
The CBA was formed in late 2007 and functions as a 501(c)6 organization headed by a Board of Directors; the Carlton City Manager sits on the Board as an Ex-officio Member.
As of January 2011 the association has over 60 members, initial funding from memberships and sponsors, and five operating committees working to further develop and promote the organization.
Members enjoy the benefits of combined marketing to promote the Carlton area, networking with other local businesses, and the opportunity for involvement in committees that produce and promote events designed to increase customer traffic and establish downtown Carlton as a destination for both community and visitors.
The CBA works in partnership with the City of Carlton to promote the town’s economic vitality while preserving its civic, cultural and historical well-being. As our economy grows, it is critical that this development happens in a way that continues to foster a vibrant community in which to live, work and visit!
