The purpose of this committee is to identify and develop association activities and programs.
Reports to: The CBA Board of Directors
Time Commitment: 1 year
Meeting Requirements: The Committee will meet one time per month. The Committee Chair will meet with the Board of Directors one time per month prepared to discuss the committee’s results.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop an operating plan that will provide details for how the committee will achieve its goals.
  • Coordinate quarterly member meetings.
  • Coordinate special events such as open houses, downtown events, participation in local parades, etc.
  • Procure and place holiday decorations.
  • Identify and coordinate appropriate educational workshops and seminars.

Upcoming P&S Events
Brookside Inn will host the next CBA Quarterly Member Meeting on Tuesday, March 20 from 6 - 7:30 pm.

  • Brookside's chef Abbey McManigle will  provide dinner at a cost of $15 per person, and Brookside will sell wine by the glass.  Our guest speaker is Gretchen Phelps from the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.

January 23, 2012
The committee met and brainstormed ideas for quarterly meeting hosts in 2012.  Bobbi will contact the businesses and get the schedule finalized.
Proposed schedule:
March: Brookside Inn
June: Monksgate Vineyard
September: Lower Park (CBA Social)
December: Cielo Blu
Alternative/Backup Ideas: Scott Paul, Cana's Feast, Horse Radish, Filling Station (on bakery side)
Bobbi will contact the following organizations to get quotes for "fun" classes:
Kookoolan Farms (cheese class)
Meadowlake Studio (pottery)
