FUNDING & GRANT WRITING COMMITTEE

The purpose of this committee is to secure additional funding for the CBA through investigating potential grants at regional and federal levels, as well as within the private sector, and writing effective proposals for appropriate grants. 
Reports to: The CBA Board of Directors
Time Commitment: 1 year
Meeting Requirements: The Committee will meet one time per month. The Committee Chair will meet with the Board of Directors one time per month prepared to discuss the committee’s results.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop an operating plan that will provide details for how the committee will achieve its goals.
• Research and identify government and private funding prospects.
• Present funding prospects to the Board for approval prior to writing a proposal.
• Generate proposals and supporting documents as directed by the Board.
• Prepare required reports for submission to grantors within deadlines.
• Monitor grants, maintain files, and prepare necessary correspondence.
